Testimony Amos Lokure – From Beneficiary to Community Trainer

Amos Lokure is one of the inspiring success stories from Save Life Christian Ministries’ Tailoring Program. A refugee from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Amos joined the program with a desire to build a better future despite the challenges of displacement.

After successfully completing his training in tailoring, Amos did not stop there. He began sewing clothes, using his skills to support himself and serve his community by the grace of he is in Omogo 2 Refugee Settlement. His dedication and passion have now grown into something even more impactful — Amos is currently training 17 young people in tailoring within the camp.

This is a powerful testimony of transformation. From being a trainee himself to now becoming a trainer and mentor, Amos is a living example of how empowerment through skills training can multiply impact and restore hope in refugee communities.
