Daily Devotion

Today’s devotion reminded us of the importance of self-examination in our walk with God. From 2 Chronicles 6:29–30, we learn that the Lord alone knows the hearts of all people. This truth challenges us to:

  • Examine our ways to pause and reflect on the path we are walking.
  • Submit ourselves to God yielding every area of our lives to His will.
  • Test ourselves to ensure that our faith and actions align with the Word of God.
  • Seek the Lord continually making Him our first priority in every situation.
  • Serve God faithfully living out our calling with humility and commitment.

“Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the Lord” (Lamentations 3:40).

  • “I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve” (Jeremiah 17:10).
  • “Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident. One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life…” (Psalm 27:3–5).

Reflection:
God sees our hearts more than our outward actions. He calls us to honesty, surrender, and faithful service. As we examine ourselves today, may we return fully to Him, seek His presence, and serve Him with confidence and joy.
