We believe education is a powerful tool for transforming lives, breaking the cycle of poverty, and creating opportunities for sustainable development.
SLCM promotes access to quality education for children, young people, refugees, and vulnerable communities through educational support, bursaries, scholarships, mentorship, and school outreach programmes. As part of our long-term vision, we aspire to establish our own educational institutions that provide quality, values-based, and practical learning opportunities.
Alongside formal education, we equip individuals with hands-on, marketable skills that enhance employability, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance. Our vocational and life-skills programmes include ICT and digital literacy, tailoring and garment making, soap and detergent production, hairdressing and beauty therapy, catering and hospitality, carpentry and joinery, bricklaying and construction, motor vehicle mechanics, handcrafts, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, leadership development, and other demand-driven vocational skills that respond to community needs.
By combining formal education with practical skills development, we empower individuals to build sustainable livelihoods and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
