As we continue in this sacred season of Lent, we are reminded to fix our eyes on the cross. The world around us can feel overwhelming—filled with uncertainty, fear, and troubling events. It is easy to become distracted, anxious, and discouraged by what we see and hear each day.
Yet, the cross calls us to a different posture.
The cross is not just a symbol of suffering—it is a symbol of victory, love, and hope. When we fix our eyes on the cross, we are reminded that Jesus has already overcome the world. Even in the midst of fear, we are invited to trust. Even when things seem uncertain, we are anchored in the finished work of Christ.
Fear may rise, but faith must respond.
Today, choose to lift your eyes above the noise of the world. Look to the cross. There you will find peace that surpasses understanding, strength for today, and hope for tomorrow. The same Jesus who endured the cross walks with you now.

What fears have been distracting you lately? Take a moment to surrender them at the foot of the cross.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus Christ, in this season of Lent, help me to fix my eyes on You. When fear rises within me, remind me of Your victory on the cross. Give me peace, strengthen my faith, and help me to trust You in all things. Amen.
